I have the start-space.com browser hijacker and can't get rid of it. I have read through your postings and don't understand how to find the (downloaded) file for Ad-aware or Spybot. Can you help me?

Snowbound, Thank you for all of your help so far. I really appreciate it. I ran Ad-aware with the latest version, then rebooted. Next I downloaded and ran hijackthis. My biggest problem that I am aware of is the start-space.com web page. There may be another on there also. My system is also running slow at times and I was having problems opening some web pages. Here is a copy of my hijackthis findings. Hope you can help me.Logfile of HijackThis v1.97.7

    Hi passarelli,

    Download, unzip and run: http://www.merijn.org/files/cwshredder.zip

After a reboot could you please post another log. I think you should be clean, but I'd like to make sure.

    Regards,

    Pieter

Hi Peter ,what you told me to do worked but now this site won't let me post my last hijackthis log. Also, I can't get into my e-mails. Any suggestions!

If you were trying to attach it as a file; the forum will not allow any file name that has been used before, so one with your name would be recommended. Also, .log files cannot be attached so you would need to change the file type to .txt

Of course, copy/paste like Paul said works good too :D
