Browser Address Error Redirector, Google, and Dell

I found through Spybot a BHO called BAE.dll. A little searching revealed that it is apparently installed on some Dell computers by Google.

Does anyone have any experience or an opinion on this? My own opinion is that it should never have been installed on my computer. I never downloaded a Google toolbar (or anyone else's for that matter) for general privacy concerns, so I am going to assume that it must have shipped with the hardware.

Shame on Dell and Google for this one if it's their doing.
