Spyware Blaster is freeware by Javacool Software that Howes recommendeds to guard against adware installs. A registration fee of $9.95 USD enables the auto-update feature of the software, which Howes encourages. Javacool also makes a related program, SpywareGuard

    Very good article :D

I believe the source of spyware is through unsecure Browsers (well, even secure ones).

You need a good strong web filter to remove all the junk that's now out on the 'Net.

Best way not to get infected- don't visit suspicious or spyware sites online. Be extremely paranoid. Common sense is the best defence against spyware.

Sounds to me you are saying being extremely paranoid is common sense.
