bragging on my IP

    I was going to test my av against some eicar mail test's but it doesn't look like I will be able to. My Ip "cableone" snagged all of them before I could get them :D Tickled the heck out of me.screen shot of what they caught

    You should email your ISP and tell them you want absolutely everything, "bring it on, buddy!" ;) :eek: :D

    My antispam app doesn't find anything on my pop3 either the isp is catching it all. I did let them know I think they are doing a dreat job. ;) kiss up and get a discount? Nah, I don't think so. I can't complain though it is cheap enough. :cool:

    I'm in the same position as bigc, don't even know how good my a-v's (avast) mail scanner is because my ISP's VirusGuard always snagged whatever before avast even got to see it.

    Admittedly I do have two other options in their quarantine center, besides simply deleting the message -- "fix" and deliver (usually means removing the attachment first), or if you really want to test your own a-v, "deliver as is".

    I sometimes think we should drop all our defences and let whatever happen...at least it would give us something to do...........It's all getting pretty boring now........... :D :D :D :D
