I see the Ecost deal is only offered in a boxed version. By the time you pay for shipping, you will have eaten up most of the ten dollar savings.

shipping from ecost is free, unless u cant wait the 3 or so days and u want it overnight, then there would be a shipping charge.

I had the trial version installed for about ten days. I was so pleased that when I bumped into the boxed version in a computer shop I just couldn't resist and bought it

I've just renewed for a third year !;)
    Download as usual !

    NOD32 is really light, it's amazing !
    Even DrWeb is heavier...
Thank you Eset Team ! :)

Back in the day I would prefer a boxed version, simply because I hate (and still do) reading stuff on a screen..
But since I'm not rich, I'll go with the download (save sending fees etc.).

my experience as a reseller (and yours may be different) - is that the number of downloadable version purchases exceeded the boxed versions by about 9 or 10 to 1...

i dont know if you read this whole thread but the boxed version if you buy it from say ecost.com before 12/31/2005 will cost you less than the download version (free shipping, $10.00 rebate total after rebate $29.99)

I don't think I'll buy it just yet, since I still have 7 or 8 month's left of my current license :)
The next one I'm gonna get will be a 3 year one.

£40.00o_O?? What do you get for that?

I use download every time,in the UK a 1 year licence is only £27.03 inc.vat and I can purchase a 3 year licence for £54.05 inc.vat so £40.00 for a boxed set sounds like a bad deal to me ,unless it includes more than a 1 year licence.
