bootable USB rescue media?

Hi everyone,
the optical drive on my laptop stopped working and I can't use it anymore to boot from a cd.Is there a way that I can make a USB rescue media?

 

Yes, there's a whole thread on how to do this. Not sure if it is in one of the stickies or not.

 

If the Acronis Media Builder program doesn't correctly create a bootable flashdrive (it won't work on USB hard drives), there are several alternate methods you can use:

Create a Bootable Flashdrive Using Vista's DISKPART Program
Create a Bootable Flashdrive Using Grub4DOS
