I have a DELL notebook and a DELL workstation both running XP Sp2. I also have a 64MB DELL USB key. I want to build a bootable USB key using ATI Bootable Rescue Media Builder. However, after the Media Builder says 'successfully built bootable media', I cannot use the USB key to boot the PCs. The error message is:
    ----------------------------------------------------
    Starting Acronis Loader...

Acronis Loader fatal error: Boot drive (partition) not found.
Press <Enter> to try to boot your OS...
    ----------------------------------------------------

I already formatted the USB key in XP with FAT.

If I format the USB key with FAT32, after running the Bootable Media Builder and reboot, the error is 'Non-system disk, press any key'

I want to know how can I successfully build a bootable USB key?

    Hello Olive,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

We regret to inform you that current version of Acronis True Image doesn't support USB flash drives as Acronis Bootable Media officialy. It means that sometimes you can create this bootable media but sometimes it doesn't work. Our Development Team is working on this feature and we will certainly implement it in future.

    Thank you.

    Understood. Thanks.

BTW, how can I activate quick reply? I don't know where are 'quick reply icons in the posts'?

    Hello Olive,

You need to press the picture of a sheet of paper with a little arrow to the right from the "quote" button.

    Thank you.
