bootable images

    Hello,

    i ask me, is it possible to create a bootable image?

    background:
    If i create an image with Acronis TrueImage, i get an image file on any destination. Also on DVD-R/W. If i want to restore my image, at first i must boot my rescue cd and now i can restore my image from DVD. It would be very comfortable, if i can integrate the backup image file on the same medium also like the rescue cd.

    The function must not be integrated into Acronis TrueImage. For example is it possible to create an image with e.g. IsoBuster or any other tool and after this to add the backup imagefile to this IsoBuster image and then to burn the bootable bakup image?

    The answer is YES. Search the forum and you should find many posts on this subject - AND a mega-thread with descriptions on how to do this.
