Bootable DVD revovery media

Does acronis bootable rescue media creator support DVD burners. I would like to make a bootable dvd with the image on the dvd.

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

We regret to inform you that Acronis program doesn't create Acronis Bootable Media on DVD. It can be created on a Floppy Disk Drive, CD or USB memory key. For the USB option, the USB memory key should be bootable and the system it is used on must be able to be booted from an USB device.

We will try to implement it in the near future.

Read through this somewhat lengthy previous thread titled <How to create bootable rescue DVD(s):> and then decide whether you want to use wdormann's original procedure, my updated and modified version of it or the one that uses UltraIso that I posted towards the end of the thread.
