Ok. I just got TI downloaded from NewEgg and while I was
able to create, just fine, a backup image, I can't create a bootable
    CD.

Running WinME (I know, I know - upgrading to XP as soon as I can),
    DELL 8000 Laptop
    Sony CD-R drive.

I've done all of the major workarounds - CD in/CD Out, clicked
all the options OFF on the CD drive, etc. but I still get the
error dialog box - Error in creating CD .

Did notice that BEHIND it was a smaller box where it was trying
to burn a CD. Thought perhaps I should wait a bit, waited for over
5 minutes and it didn't stop showing the error box.

I tried booting in Safe Mode but my laptop doesn't see my
    CD drive in Safe Mode!

    Help -------!

    Ok. Here's the latest ---

I upgraded to XP anyways, without having a bootable CD.

Once I did that and I re-installed TI - I was successfully able to
    create a bootable CD.

So, it must be that WinME and TI are not "fully" compatible. Of course,
I'm at a loss to explain why I haven't seen any response from Tech
    Support to my original post.

Is there a stated policy that says anything about how fast
    you should get a response?
