Boot sector virus (wyx.B)

    Hello,
    I have been using Eset NOD32 Av business edition, a bootsector virus is detected on my system, does anyone have the solution how to remove this bootsector virus.
    The snapshot is attached kindly see to it and give a solution for it asap

    Is this physical disk 2 your second hard drive or it is on removable media ?

    Yes its a physical drive.......

    I asked you if it is a hard drive that is permanently attached to your computer or it is a removable media (removable USB hard drive for example)

    Yes it is hard disk installed in my system................

    Ok . Let's assume it is your permanently attached HD.
    Take your Windows XP CD and boot from it .
    When you begin the installational process , it will detect your current installation . Press the R button to start Repair . Actually , this will load Windows Recovery Console .

    Use fixmbr and fixboot DOS commands to repair the boot sectors. More information about the commands and Windows Recovery Console here.

    When you are ready , use the exit command to quit the Windows Recovery console .
