Installed True Image 8.0 and now get an MBR Error 2 when I boot. However, system seems to boot ok but I don't think it is wise to just ignore this error. I'm running on Windows XP. About all I know thus far is that it has something to do with the boot record or recognizing which drive to boot from. I am a novice so any help on this one is appreciated. Thanks Gabby.

    Hello Gabbyfire,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Please let us know did you activate Acronis Startup Recovery Manager? Please note that if you do not activate Acronis Startup Recovery Manager the MBR will remain untouched.

Please try to boot the computer from a Windows XP Installation CD, start Recovery Console and run fixmbr command. If the problem still persists please send a letter with the link to this thread to support@acronis.com.

    Thank you.
