Boot CD Freeze

    The program stops loading after the splash screen and the cursor stops blinking. I tried the 'F11 acpi=off noapic' suggestion given 11/2, but no change. How can I get a successful boot CD made?

    If you have a usb media card reader such as sandisk, unplug it or put a media in it..That's the only way it will work for me on my Dell 4500 XP Pro sp2..

    Thanks bobbyjak!! I had a palm USB cradle attached, (no palm inserted). Once I unplugged it, the CD worked. Is this normal or a bug?

    This problem has existed for me since version TI 7..Acronis keeps telling me it will be fixed in the next build..This has not happened yet and we are now on
    TI 8.0.786..I consider it to be a bug..TI 8.0.786 seems to be the worst version I have encountered..Glad you were able to solve your problem..
