Bookmarks manager for linux mint

    Does anyone know of any decent bookmark managers for Linux?. I use linkstash in windows which can check for broken links etc ,.I'm looking for something that is isn't saved to a cloud..I just want it locally on my machine.

    Is there a specific reason why you don't want to use the one in your browser? Btw., there are add-ons which check, e.g., for broken links like Bookmarks Organizer for FF.

    I prefer a dedicated manager. On windows 7 i use linkstash which is more versatile than the browser manager. I was hoping there may have been something similar in linux
