it's not the only update problem they've had lately, for some weeks auto update has been locking up Boclean on some computers, 2 of mine have been cursed by the lock up a few times, a symptom is the sys tray icon stays green.

Thats good. I might go back to using it again. Had too many problems with it after Comodo took over. I had still run Kevins version as long as I could but when it came down to needing the new version I tried it and had problems so dropped it. It had stopped a lot of baddies for me over the years and I kind of hated not having it but thats the way it goes. Hopefully this time all problems will be fixed.

Never had issues with updates (other than any immediately fixed by KMcA) still have faith in Kevin and his expertise.
Really good to see him posting and this update.
I'll be giving it a run.

    Hi guys :)

    - The update problem was in fact a server problem, and not the fault of Comodo, but I will spare you the details.

    - All Comodo BOClean versions are Kevins versions, he is responsible for all the coding.

And yesterday I got a message from Kevin that BOClean 4.26 is still sceduled for tomorrow, so lets keep our fingers crossed :thumb:

This is typical upgrade forecasting. A month or two indeed. :D

Thanks Red for keeping us informed.

Please let's give Kevin and crew the time needed for releasing the new version!

I just only started this thread to warn users for a possible update problem on [4 April 2008]. That was all.
It has served its purpose now. I wonder whether it would be a good idea to close this thread now and start a new one when the new version is released. But I leave that decision ofcourse to the mods/admins.
