It indicates on Comodo's site that there is a critical update for BoClean. New version is 4.25.001.

    http://www.comodo.com/boclean/supboc.html

Is this the only 4.25 version? Was the previous version 4.24?

    I have 4.25 but don't know if it's 4.25.001! I downloaded it about oh, 3 months ago.

    Thanks

Go to the BOClean program directory (usually C:\Program Files\Comodo\CBOClean) and check the file version of one of the executables.

If you hover the cursor over the file, the tooltip will show the version.

Can we update to 4.25.001 over 4.25 or do we have to uninstall 4.25 first?:)

I think you can get the new version by just running the updater. But yes you can install over too.

Thanks. Do you know what this update does or fixes?:)

Also Im starting to think that 4.25 = 4.25.001.

Secondly I have to retract my statement about installing over. In the page linked by Drew99GT, they recommend to do an uninstall of your current BOClean before installing a new version.

The MD5 of the one I downloaded back in September matches the one that's there today.

    Hi, twl845

Same here checked my MD5 of BOClean 4.25 [File version 4.2.5.1] dated Aug 9th 2007 with the one in question 4.25.001 and they are the same, just as you are showing.

    Hi,

Perhaps it is not the today's update at all.

The info associated with it has been available for months.

Hoping no panic has been created here.

Stay put, everything is all right and will be OK too.
