On our Small Business Server 2003 R2 (32Bit) with SP2, we have installed the Symantec Backup Exec 10.d and Acronis Trueimage Server 9.1 (Build 3920) .

In irregular intervals (in the nightly backup) appears a blue screen with error code 000000b8. When we analyze memory dumps, it has become apparent that the driver snapman.sys is the cause of the blue screen. As this driver is installed with Acronis True Image Server software, i wanted to ask whether the problem is known and someone have a workaround or solution to offer.

Thanks in advanced for you help!

    Hello SBK,

Thank you for using Acronis Server Disk Backup software

Could you please submit a request for technical support. Attach the collected dumps and information to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with a solution.

    Hello Michael,

Thanks for your answer. I will submit a technical request, but did you really mean to send the memory dump (memory.dmp)? This one is 1GB (1'073'032 Byte) and not so easy to send with a Webform or E-Mail...

Or did you mean another file?

    Hello SBK,

Please accept our apologies for the delay with the response.

I was talking about small memory dump (so called 'minidump').

    Thank you.

No, Acronis-Support-Team has never give an answer (i have send 3 mails) to the snapman.sys issue.

Since 1 month i have deinstalled Acronis Trueimage Server 9.1 and the Symantec Backup Exec is functionally great and no bluescreen on the Server is appearing.
