Norton antivirus has found a virus on my machine, running windows XP pro, it calls it bloodhound.pack. (I know that Symantec calls viruses this when it hasn't yet identified it) It won't let me run any program. It gives me a window saying that I do not have permission to run program.

It had affected 7 files with one being the windows/system32/run.dll. It will qaurantine 6 of the files except the run.dll. It can't get rid of it either.

What can I do, I went into safe mode and ran the scan, then deleted all temp and offline internet files?

I do not have the system restore enabled on my machine.

I am not a computer tech so I don't know much about this end of things, any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
