Blocking Internet Access for a Specific Appliciation via Windows Firewall, Possible?

    Can i just enquire if anyone knows if it is possible to block outbound internet access to a specfic application via Windows Firewall present on XP-SP2.

    Is so how would i do it. As all i can find is for allowing blocked programs, not actually blocking allowed programs.

    Win XP Firewall has no outbound control ability. You can not control applications connection out with it but you could use IPSec - complicated and only with XP Pro I believe. If you want outbound control your best bet is to try a 3rd party firewall or something like appdefend.
