block or stop remote monitoring of computer

    I would like to know if there is any software that can block and or stop remote monitoring of my computer?I have nosy landlords, or sick ones, take your pick.Other people in the building have remarked on comments made by the landlords on things that only the tenants could possibly know in regard to the usage of their computers and internet surfing.
