Blaster or Spybot-induced error message?

Hi all --

I recently uninstalled SpyWare Blaster *without* disabling it first (oops).

Very shortly afterward I began receiving Microsoft Word error messages, telling me that a disk needs to be inserted for me to proceed. I'm wondering if my faulty uninstall contributed to this. I get the error message a lot now, and I don't have to be using Word -- or even trying to use Word -- for it to pop up on my screen. The only other program I've added to my computer lately is Spybot S&D (which is what lead me to Blaster in the first place).

Is there anyone here familiar with this error message? Might it be related to Blaster or Spybot? Or is it just my goofy MS Word software?

You might uninstall and reinstall Word to see if that eliminates the problem. If you have the installation disk, it's an easy thing to do, and it's a good place to start.
