BitDefender's firewall - how much it can be compared against ZAP?

I am thinking of evaluating BitDefender professional plus 8.0. However, looking at the screenshots of the program gave me the impression that its firewall is OK but is it really ok compared to the current firewall i am using: ZoneAlarm Plus 4.0.146.029

i.e. Does it contain the same security strength of ZoneAlarm such as Stealth mode, Authenticate program components...etc

In brief, is it ok to just uninstall ZoneAlarm and replace it by BitDefender's firewall and still getting the same security ?

I havent tried BitDefenders firewall but from the screenshots and descriptions it looks decent. It has some app protection and filtering. I dont like the way ZoneAlarm has been gong lately... have you looked at LNS, 8Signs, Tiny, Kerio or even Jetico (free ATM) lately?
