I like Bitdefender a lot, but recently I had been trying the VPN feature, and I experienced many websites being greyed out and having to reload, but it usually comes back. So I uninstalled the VPN feature and kept Bitdefender, and the problem went away. So I think it was the VPN.
What do you mean by greyed out? If you are having trouble with a VPN, connecting to a different server can often help.
