I have Bitdefender AV Plus 2013 installed on my system currently

if i remember correctly, Bitdefender had an option to download and distribute updates over P2P(Bit-torrent) protocol which allowed faster updates.
the users were given the option to enable it during installation.

is that feature still available in BDAV 2013?
if yes, how do i enable it?

    Regards
    a Happy Bitdefender Customer :D

    Thanks mate
its a shame they decided to remove that feature,
it was quite innovative to say the least and quite useful for people with high pings to the update server, considering the size of updates

Now lets see how long it will take for Roboscan to update their AV components and remove the P2P updating option. This will be a good showcase of how far behind are 3rd party BitDefender engine users compared to the "original" thing.

Yeah, Roboscan still has this feature. Thats why it'll be interesting to see how long it will take for this change to also affect Roboscan. This way we'll be able to see how far behind it really is in terms of updating such features.
