which is better thanx..for a friend?
Bit is far better. AVG at best, is pretty below average.
how about Norton 2005 vs Bitdefender.. or Nav 2005 vs AVG thanks again MD
I'm the wrong person to ask that from. I cannot stand Norton whatsoever. Once again, Bit Defender would be my choice anyday of the week over Norton.
But i'm biased, I think Norton is an aweful product.
i would also say bitdefender as i will never use anything from nortons!!! but the free version i believe uses the older engine than the pro version i could be wrong here though. there are a lot of great ones out there just try as many as you can then decide just run one at a time so no conflicts
About level of protection in the real world at a given time.
AVG is better if it responses to malware that will infect you faster than BitDefender and Norton.
BitDefender is better if it detects malware that will infect you by its heuristics or response faster than AVG and Norton.
Unfortunately, we have rarely seen such a response time test for a given group of malware. But if I have to choose, I'd go with BitDefender.
BitDefender has the top response times trust me.
About the tree options, I would go with BitDefender...
