Sorry, I have no sympathy for you and I am going to tell you why so hopefully others will learn from your mistake. Most vendors offer a fully functional 30 day trial which is really what all should do before buying. From a money standpoint it makes logical sense because in the end, if you buy it, you basically got 1 month free.

I know Bitdefender, if they are not giving your money back, they have a reason.:cautious:

Hmm... I smell something funny. Could it perhaps be... troll?

@marna- I'm sorry to hear about your difficulties.

Next time, try before you buy. That way you won't have to cry.

Amen, rather than calling a ~Phrase removed~ user a troll, which serves no purpose other than to further stoke his rage,(justifiable or not),this responce at least, in the words
of The Great Kenny Rogers,"Leaves him with an Ace he can keep",and a little commiseration.

I have BitDefender Total Security 2010 for a 9 months, now my PC work perfect and my internet is not slowing.
My RAM at starting Windows 7 is about 530 MB.
The BD database is so good about 6100000 records... Perfect...

My experience with Bitdefender has been quite bad, so I wouldn't use them again. When I was using Bitdefender a while back it just kept disabling itself randomly.

when i was new to computers (not long ago) i bought game safe. i tried it it was good. i bought it no problems for about 3 days. then it stopped working. the help tickets are still unanswered. although the forum tried to help. the program was shocking, never heard from support.
So i had the trial + 3 days lol i thought maybe they didnt have support (perhaps they don't)
i asked for help on a gaming foum and someone told me (wrongly) they had gone bust so i put it down to experience.
i have yet to find a person in the real world who had tried bit defender who hasnt had some kind of grief.

bitdefender did slow down one of my clients machines quite alot.
the bitdefender engine itself is good but the new bitdefender versions arent very good imo. They added to much pointless stuff such as registry cleaner etc.
