Can anyone suggest as to how good is it in terns all-round security..ie.anti-virus,firewall(leaks,stealth),anti-spyware...

I know there's beta also available right now and i have signed up for it also..

But i haven't really ever used bitdefender much as compare to norton/mcafee/kaspersky so my knowledge on it is pretty much low...

BitDefender 9.5 Professional Plus offers good AntiVirus/AntiSpyware protection and a good antispam module. But the firewall is not so good.

Live support is good, however I can't say the same for email support.

It's an excellent AV. But you cannot have Spyware Blaster or Spybot on a computer that runs BD. I agree email support is not that good. Plus, it was email support that demanded that I remove both the aforementioned applications when I began having problems with 9.5 Pro. I removed BD instead. I got KAV 2006 and it doesn't complain about my having Spyware Blaster or Spybot. And it's an even better AV.

Why on earth woulkd you need SpywareBlaster and SpyBot alongside BitDefender 9.5 ? It's like running antispyware along KAV6. It's pointless as it's already strong enough by itself.

I found bit defender 9.5 plus to be less sufficient for spyware and adware. It could not prevent the installation of some adware on my system, even though it detected few of those.
