Can the license be held and used in a year or two, or does the time begin when purchased? I still have almost two years left on my current license.
    Thanks,
    Jerry

As long as the key is not activated on any PC yes it should be good when needed.

i should add also on the 3 PC licenses deal if one key is activated there ALL activated time starts counting down for all three.

If you activated it by mistake you can contact support and they'll send you new inactive licenses. My friend had registered in the MyBitdefender account and immediately the licenses started counting. I contacted the support for him and they gave him new inactive licenses and advised to only register if he wished to use the licenses.

Well it wasn't really a mistake but more like a compulsive decision. :doubt:
The reason why i activated it is because DoctorPC bought the license for me and to make sure it was a legit and working license i had to activate it before paying him. o_O

I was planning to keep the license BUT Newegg always cancelled my order.

Oh I see. How did you activate the license? Did you register it in your MyBitdefender account or by entering in a Bitdefender product? Anyways, if you're not using Bitdefender product in your pc you can try to contact Support and ask them to provide you with new inactive license. They'll hopefully be convinced if you're currently not using and used the license only for a short period of time.:)

Why does Newegg always cancel your order? Now tell the truth, what did you do?:D

For any purchased license of Bitdefender 3PCs 1Year (Total Security, Internet Security or Antivirus Plus), you will receive an extra free year, plus other three license keys of the equivalent purchased product, 1PC 1Year version, to offer to your friends for free.

Failed verification. I tried to pay with Paypal and CC.
I mean, i purchase things from at least a dozen websites without problems and Newegg is the first website to give me problems. o_O (Amazon, eBay and a lot more)

I guess the problem is that i dont live in the US and even when i put my real address they still void the order.
If you wonder how i purchase things and ship it to where i live . . . it's called air freight. :D
