Bad actors get hold of that tech they will reek astronomical havoc on an entirely new scale never experienced before. Not only that, it could go undiscovered for years unlike the current timeline which even some of them have gone a year or better undiscovered long after the damage is been done.
I was wondering if it is possible to reverse engineer such a software in order to find out what data was used to train the ai? or is it possible for a user to view the data used to train the software? [put differently - if the software got hacked, can the data used to train it be exfiltrated for other uses?] no wonder banks arent willing to use such software. i'm pretty sure they will do the same thing as in digital currency, they might create their own in a sandbox first then when they are satisfied they will go public with the service.
Big Tech talks with forked tongue! "The company that gets there first with AI, controls the market; all others will perish", publicly stated by both Microsoft CEO and board member Bill Gates. JP Morgan Chase CEO - the first to control banking and the financial sector with AI will leave the competition in the dust. Google - haste is of the essence. AI is the future of the new internet. FYI: Bard (Google SE) was asked what data it trained on ... it replied GMAIL. Big Tech and Big Business: all PRIVATE user data is already accessible to them. Moving at warp speed allows them to get the jump on the regulators - all the siphoning, storing and categorizing will be over by the time the regulators get the laws passed and in operation. The above 3 mentioned are not the only ones, just the ones that are currently in the lead and that have super slurped private data with impunity for decades ... and get away with it. Privacy is not their concern.
