I'll move this to the Privacy General forum for better attention. ;)

I think their site is down. I've updated before with no problem.

The MajorGeeks site says it's 2.0.0.17 but when you check the file it's created on July 9th, same as 2.0.0.13 and when you install, the About says it's 2.0.0.13.

Nick, where did you hear that 2.0.0.17 was available? Also, what happened to 2.0.0.14 through .16?

Did you get a zip or exe file? I still can't get an update, the lists or even connect to the site (says HTTP 403).

Thanks S, that link worked, the file was 1,593KB dated today, whereas the MajorGeeks was only 1,438KB dated July 9th.

As for updates using the BHOD "Check for updates", I still get errors about a PUD file and the BHO for SpywareGuard has a status of "Investigating" so I must need the lists too.
At this point I think that I should just have stayed at 2.0.0.13

Oh well, I'm sure things will get sorted soon, thanks again,
    Jim

This is the BHOD log snippet which I just found...
o First, it will check to see if there is a new version of the program.

o Second, it will download the latest Definitive Solutions 'BHO List'.

This should only take a few seconds.

So if anyone knows how to decipher that, please let me know how to resolve it...

I received an e-mail from Larry Leonard today as follows
"Due to overwhelming demand, our website is temporarily down. If you're
having a problem with BHODemon unrelated to getting updates, please let us
    know exactly what!

We hope to be back up and running in a few days.

Also, note that Version 2.0.0.17, with many new features, is now available
    at PCWorld at:

    <http://pcworld.com/downloads/file_description/0,fid,23611,00.asp>

    Thanks!

    "

thanks Larry, good luck with getting the site back up
