    Bing was pushing junk a long time ago IMO. I always thought that the MS Google Search wannabe was a pain and always will.

    Personal preference of course. To be fair (I guess), it used to be if you misspelled Google in the URL Address Bar such as Goggle or similar, it would deliver foulware and try to perform a drive by on you. Most of that is cleaned up these days but can't account for this new discovery or why.
