    Hey there

have some problems with beta 2 on my win2k system. When coming back from hibernate Lns connects to a weird IP address 192.168..... thats not existing and the only way to get back into tne internet is to turn of wifi and turn it on again.

I am using a usb wireless stick and lns is started as a service

If your system is returning from Hibernation mode and you don't have the appropriate DHCP rules, your system will likely be assigned local IP address 169.254.y.z.

To troubleshoot the DHCP problems, try using; IPCONFIG /RENEW

    169.254.y.z: y and z changes randomly.

When you using restrictive DHCP rules, ensure DHCP rules is proper use IPCONFIG /RELEASE then IPCONFIG /RENEW ... if there are BOOTPC=68udp/BOOTPS=67udp packet entries on the Look 'n' Stop 'Log' screen then you know more work is needed. ;)

    Hi PhantOm (and tosbsas) :)

PhantOm: What do you mean by this? How should one tighten the BOOTPC rule ?

    Thanks,
    Thomas :)
