    Hi,

I am in searching of folder encryption software for replacement of my old one: SAFEHOUSE? I used Safehouse Folder Encryption for a couple of years, but fed up with the problem of drive mapping. It does a good job in term of stability and trustworthy.

I am looking at a program call BestCrypt from Jetico but could not find enough recommendation of it. Anybody using it in this forum? How good is it in term of stability? Since I am using my notebook as my main PC, I need a reliable folder encryption in case someone stole my notebook.

    Current Settings:
    Windows 2000 Pro, 256 Meg, 60Gb HD
    NOD32, ZA, SpywareGuard

    Thank you in advance.

    Sincerely,

    dgho

Does TrueCrypt stable? No files disspearing, file corrupt, etc.

What happen if the PC crash? (which will close PC suddently so no time to unmount) Does TrueCrypt Data will be alright? No Corruption files?

    Thanks.

I never had a problem with it.

BUT i never tested turning off the PC while the container is opened.

    Try looking at their forum.

I love TrueCrypt. I have put it through the wringer as I wanted to know it was trustworthy. This latest version, 3.1a, is the best yet. Very, very stable and I have never ever had a TrueCrypt volume become corrupt or anything like that. Nothing but good things to say.
