Best way to update ERA and ERAC ??

    My ESET server : windows server 2003

    I would like to update ERA and ERAC (from version4.0.122.0 to the latest).

    Do I have to uninstall them first before applying the new version ?
    Is there a way to not lose all my settings in the process (mainly my policies and the links between policies and clients...) o_O

    I could not find anything about that in the eset KB.

    If you are on the build mentioned, you should have no issues upgrading to the latest build, and should not lose any of your current settings.

    That's right, I did not lose anything, but the french support told me about the database backup function using the ESET Remote Administrator Maintenance Tool, very useful for anyone who wishes to be safely updating in the future...
