Best way to Uninstall Smart Security

    What is the best way to uninstall Smart Security? I know add/remove programs but I have seen horror stories about removing big multi purpose pieces of software. In fact some of the companies release uninstallers just for such occasions.

    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Add and remove programs and then use the removal tool from the ESET's website.
    I would use Total Uninstall :D ;)

    Best way of uninstalling any ESET product (no leftovers) is:

    1. Click on the Start button
    2. Navigate to All Programs -> ESET -> ESET Smart Security
    3. Click on Uninstall, follow the instructions and reboot your pc
    4. Go to here: http://kb.eset.com/esetkb/index?pag...earch&viewlocale=en_US&searchid=1301817731398 and get the ESET removal tool for your operating system
    5. Boot in Safe Mode (press F8 multiple on booting, before the Windows logo comes up)
    6. Run the ESET removal tool in Safe Mode, follow the instructions and run all possible sequences
    7. Reboot your pc (in normal mode) and you are done
