I have a paid license to NOD32, and want to try ESS. How should I do that? Do I need to uninstall my NOD32, or install ESS on top of it?

I think you can simply install ESS trial on top

No harm in uninstalling Nod32 and then installing ESS it always recommended:)

Your license is applicable to both products, you should do a fresh install.
Since ESS has many differing features than EAV.
    From the licensing FAQ's
    Regards,

That is not quite true if you have an ESS license you can downgrade to EAV but you can't use the EAV license on ESS as it cost more and you will not be able to download ESS with your EAV License because I just tried!

Thanks for the replies. I already have the installer, and have gotten a response from ESET on how to purchase the upgrade; I was just wondering whether to install the trail on top of NOD32 or uninstall my licensed copy and re-install the trial.

Yes it would be best to Uninstall then reboot then install ESS Trial version if that's what you have!

Yep, that's what I have. Sorry for not being more clear, and thanks for the help. That's always the best way, I guess I was looking for a way to be lazy.:)
