best site for general, broad, tech news?

im looking for a good site for tech news that covers a broad range of subjects (such as slashdot)

also, a more focused, linux site with news

any suggestions?

And since you live in Sweden I would recommend www.sweclockers.com as a good site but you have probably already heard of it I guess.
And then we got www.idg.se wich post different articles and news from the IDG news network.
