Which is in your opinion best one time fee product, no every year payment required, under €40 or $50?

I can think of two excellent products that I use.
    Win Patrol Plus.
    Ace Utilities/System TuneUp.

I see that you posted your thread in "other anti-malware software".
I suppose that you are thinking of security program, right?

Be more specific, because as you can see the people that want to help you will recommend you other types of programs.

IMHO you can go with some virtualization program like : Shadow Defender.

Light Virtualization - the first year....

Or if you are looking for an AV, then Twister Av is one time fee product.

I like Sandboxie and DriveSentry. Both applications provide very good protection for a one-time fee.

Hard to say the best one but here is my bestof:

    • MalwareDefender + RegistryWorkshop (TorchSoft's)
    • ShadowDefender
    • Anvir TaskManager Pro
    • BiNG + IFW
    • SanboxIE
    • DriveSentry + GoAnywhere
    • SAS
    • MP3Toys
    • XPLite

DefenseWall is tha best, but not one time fee (I would love to buy a lifetime license, btw, because my license will expire in April 2012 [are you listening Ilya? please, please?]).

    DefenseWall is not really a one time payment. You pay a small renewal fee every year to cover updates and enhancements etc: from the SoftSphere web site;

    DefenseWall HIPS:
DefenseWall HIPS (Host Intrusion Prevention System) is the simplest and easiest way to protect yourself from malicious (spyware, adware, keyloggers, rootkits, etc.) software when you surf the Internet! Using the next generation proactive protection technologies, sandboxing and virtualization, DefenseWall HIPS helps you achieve a maximum level of protection against malicious software, while not demanding any special knowledge or ongoing online signature updates.

The DefenseWall HIPS program license is Lifetime, however updates, email notifications and first-queue support expire after 1 year unless you renew (extend, prolongate) your license.

One time fee products I have are SuperAntiSpyware Pro and Ad Muncher. Both are two of the best products I have ever used. SAS was $19.99 and Ad Muncher was under $20 due to some promo around last Christmas.

Of course, both products have their critics (me being one of them) as well as free alternatives. But I think overall they run pretty smoothly integrating with other programs on my system- although that was more of a chore with Ad Muncher than SAS.

Yes, I'm listening. Lifetime is bad idea from the point of view of development. New version building requires money (food, electricity, flat, Internet access). "Lifetime" means here very high license price, about two hundred $$$.

Wow there are many but I agree with others who mentioned Sandboxie. Excellent program, excellent support and excellent price - one time fee for a lifetime license or you can use it for free.

btw I think Ilya's offer for DW is a fair one.
