This is true bashing :D :D
While I agree that the latest Norton versions have improved dramatically the stability and speed, there's quite a difference between the product "as a whole" and the AV engine (which is excellent IMO)

How to tell a review is way too brief - the spelling is even wrong...

An excellent test report. Very pithy. Makes me want to matriculate in a bottle.

If the author thereof had it to do all over again, he'd do it all over Norton.

P.S.- Where can I buy the current version of Aviva? o_O

I suppose we should all switch to AVG free, especially since pc techs seem to swear by it. ;)

Look lets stop beating around the bush... the best antivirus product is whichever one I happen to be using at any given point in time.

That guy in the article does know me and did not interview me so he has not got a clue.

No matter what you think of it. It is used by thousands if not millions. McAfee :gack: Not one word about it. Long on what he thinks, short on why he thinks the way he does. No support for his positions. Written for those who think about AV as often as they think about root canals. :D

Its currently not possible to say what the best Antivirus for 2008 is because its only March!! Whats to say something new wont be released next week that beats knocks spots off everything else.

So that should be "Best antivirus for March 2008" should it not?
