Just bought ATI 8. Looks pretty good. I backed up my boot partition and restored it for a laugh, and everything is fine.

One problem though. When every I boot from the ATI boot disk and select an image to restore I get the following message :

Failed to read from sector 0 of hard disk 0

If I cancel it the restore continues as normal, and works fine.

Does anyone know what this means, and whether it is masking something more sinister ?

    Thanks guys.

    Hello,

I receive the same error message with v 8.0 and the same result. I have an internal WDC 160G drive, BTW.

    Regards,
    Jim

    Fair point. You're right.

And guess what. I have a card reader without a card in :)

    Thanks for your help.

Glad to be able to help.

Wish someone could answer the question I posted about installing - would also be nice if tech support would answer the email I sent them nearly two weeks ago.
