I currently have good images of my drives backed up in an Acronis safe zone, residing in an external Hard Drive (USB/Firewire). Due to some problems I'm having installing some new software, I've been advised to do a clean Windows install- kind of a last resort- so my question is:

after clean install, and subsequent reinstallation of True Image and Disk Director, I should be able to restore my drives to their current image, if the clean install doesn't solve my new software problem, no? Seems like an obvious question, but I don't want any more surprises right now...

Another way of asking: if I have True Image, I should be able to manage or open any Acronis Safe Zone on any drive that I'm connected to, right?

    Thanks, Gunga

You will be able to access the Secure Zone using a reinstalled True Image or from the Bootable Rescue CD.
