Something slightly unusual for today: A review of Bayanihan 5 Kalumbata, a Debian-based distribution developed in Philippines, with the topics covered including installation and installation problems, KDE 3.5 look and feel, Wireless, Samba, multimedia - MP3 playback, Flash, applications, performance and stability, package management, functionality issues, errors, and more. Could this be your next desktop distro?

Thanks for that, um, interesting gem.
I can overlook the fact that this is absolutely hiddeos design, fonts, colours...
but what I'd be curious about is, given the age of some software and the fact that this is a .gov project, how does security support look like?
Would it be a wild guess to assume some of the packaged possibly network facing software comes with nice remote vulnerabilities "preinstalled"?

It looks like it's only used for simple office workstations though, so don't get your hopes too high all you skiddies who are currently nmpapping the .ph IP ranges :p
