My granddaughter downloaded Bandoo on her computer and it took over. I had to revert to another snapshot to get rid of it. Does anyone know anything about it?

I believe it's a piece of software that allows to add emoticons (emotion icons) to stuff like Messenger, Gmail, etc...

Whether it is legitimate or not... no idea. I make no use of stuff like that.

It installed a search page as home page and wouldn't let you change it. I tried several scans then went to an older snapshot.

I wonder if your granddaughter was given an option to choose that home page? (I'm only interested to know whether or not it was forced upon installation.)

A relative of mine - fan of that crap as well - wanted to download it and install it on my own system!, without my consent... Obviously, it failed to even be able to download such crap.

Good to know this piece of software is junk.

I am not sure what she allowed. Also when I went to all programs, it gave no options for uninstall. I went to Add Remove programs and removed it,but still could not change home page.
