    Hello,

I do not understand why one "must" use AV.
Furthermore, why should a Mac user run an AV, if at all.

As to the I love you virus, the problem is not with client machines. The problem is with administrators who:

Allow executable attachments on their network.
Use default administrator accounts for their networks because it's too much of a bother to setup limited accounrs or use restriction policies.
    Do not use Linux clients.

    Mrk

If this article would be pointed at common users, I would not say a word, but it is not.
He is talking about IT manager, who obviously knows his job, uses GPO for sure and etc.
I find this ridiculous, eventhough he wants to helps his friend and point out at it at public.
My friends have various apps, but we respect each other, we do not consider others for noobs.
