    Hi,
I'm using True Image Server 9.1 under Linux. I installed it no problem. Recently I made a kernel upgrade. After that, trueimagecmd doesn't work anymore.
When I try to use trueimagecmd I got the following error:
    Code:
    $ trueimagecmd --list
    Serial number is incorrect.
I tried to enter the serial, but that doesn't work!
    Code:
    trueimagecmd --serial-key:xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx
    Bad option: serial-key

Why? The syntax is correct, isn't it?

    Hello c!w,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Linux Server Disk Backup Software.

We are sorry for the delayed response.

Please note that in Acronis True Image 9.1 Server for Linux the serial number should be entered during the installation process in the GUI mode or using -l (lowercase letter "L") during the installation:

    ./filename.i686 -l XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX

    Thank you.

    Hi,
The parameter -l (lower L) is unkown..

    Code:
    root@delphinus:/home/wittwerch# ./TrueImageServer9.1_d_de.i686 -l xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx
TrueImageServer9.1_d_de.i686: bad argument -l: unknown option
    Usage: TrueImageServer9.1_d_de.i686 [-ansucd?] [-a|--auto] [-n|--nodeps]
            [-s|--static] [-u|--uninstall] [-c|--norpm] [-d|--debug]
            [-i|--id STRING] [-?|--help] [--usage]

    Regards,
    c!w

    Hello c!w,

Please accept our apologies for the delay with the response.

Judging by the filename (TrueImageServer9.1_d_de.i686) you are trying to install the free trial version of Acronis True Image 8.0 Server for Linux which cannot any accept any serial numbers.

Please download the full version installation package from the Product Updates section of your account at Acronis web site and then follow the instructions provided by Aleksandr.

Note that in order to get the access to updates you should create an account then log in and use your serial number to register the software.

If you have any further questions concerning Acronis software, please feel free to submit a request for technical support or post any of them on this forum. We will certainly try to help you in resolving any issues.

    Thank you.
