I had a Windows Home Server that backed every computer up at night and it woke up all my home computers each day and did an incremental backup with rules of 1. keep first backup forever 2. Keep daily backups for a week 3. Keep weekly backups for 2 months 3. Keep monthly backups for 2 years It did this with the data drives also. Computer got a virus or crashed I just put in the USB stick and presto an hour later computer and data recovered. I also run CrashPlan offsite so most I would lose is an hours data. So if someone can recommend something like the above in a backup strategy or better, it is just unclear from Paragon Documentation what all this stuff does and I have been reading up for days before posting. Maybe someone could point me to some scripts that could be easily edited or some sort of step by step process. I am thinking maybe an icon on the desktop to backup and shut-down would be good, trying to save power ;-) Any help on any of the above would be greatly appreciated.
