I made a 2 step Backup (Image of Disk C created on Disk D, then burned on DVD's). When I click on the Files on the DVD, I am told the files are corrupted. That seems unlikely to me. Are they in fact corrupted

Did you Check the image on D? Was it good?

If so, try burning the DVDs at a lower speed. Then check the image again.

If the image on D wasn't good then the DVDs will of course be bad and you need to check your system's RAM, etc.
