Backup 10.2 free can't see usb hard drive

    I've just installed Backup and Recovery 10.2 Free Edition but when I try to backup to my external USB hard drive, it doesn't show in the list of available destinations.
    I'm running XP Pro SP3 and the drive is 160gb HP. Why doesn't it recognise the external drive?

    Went back about an hour later and tried again, and this time the drive showed up in the list. Don't know why it didn't show before.

    The most possible reason is that external drive was connected later than Backup and Recovery was started.

    In such situations, to get access to new connected drive, press F5 to Update Disk Map.
