Backdoor.Hupigon - no protection?

    My computer was infected today with Backdoor.Hupigon.
    I have spyware blaster and paid to have all the relevant updates.
    Is the program not designed prevent this kind of infection?

    What program detected Backdoor.Hupigon, and (if possible) does it have a scan log you could post?

    Spyware detector.
    The log is an html file which I've converted to txt.

    Would not trust this one.

    I don't - that's why I got spyware blaster.
    I know there are competitons for custom, so I use Spyware Doctor too.
    It also found the remnants of the spyware.
