Got the new Maxtor DiamondMax Plus HD put in this morning.

Went a whole lot better than I thought it would (amazingly so, in fact, given my penchant for creating disasters where none had ever existed before).

    Let's see:
    160GB
    Buffer Size: 8MB
    Average Seek Time <9.3 ms
External Transfer Rate: Up to 133M/Bytes / sec
    (Ultra ATA/133)
    Rotational Speed: 7200 RPM

That oughta hold me for awhile.

Adding programs back in in a very un-hurried fashion here. No glitches so far. Pete
